What kind of experience do I need to operate NPS?

None! We've designed NPS to be easy and intuitive to operate. You don't need photography or photo editing experience to produce great photo favors. We'll provide all of the training and support you need to ensure your success through phone and online consultation, video tutorials, and documentation. Don't worry...it's not difficult. We also offer optional on-site support in some circumstances. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

What can I use NPS for?

NPS is designed for mobile events or stationary attractions alike. Photo favors are wildly successful for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, parties, corporate and all types of events and attractions. If you've ever visited an amusement park, fair or landmark, you know that novelty and souvenir photos are extremely popular. The media costs to produce a photo can range from 40 cents for a 5x7 to $1.75 for an 8x10, and sell for up to $20. There are few businesses that can match the return on investment and profit margin of event photo products. And you can sell them virtually anywhere; flea markets, craft shows, festivals, sports events, birthday parties, fundraisers, corporate events....the list is endless. What kind of camera do I need?

NPS includes direct tethering support for many Canon DSLR cameras, including the T1i, T2i, 350D, 400D, 450D, and others. Our tethering function is unique in that your images can be manipulated as layers, right on the workspace. However, you don't need a Canon DSLR. Our import function allows you to use any camera that supports PC mode (save to folder), and works with our capture interface. This gives you many of the benefits of direct tethering (thumbnail list, auto-import), even if your camera doesn't support it. You may also use an optional Eye-Fi card for wireless transmission of images, even if your camera doesn't support PC mode! Choose from panel-based capture or open in a separate window. Our camera capture function gives you the flexibility you need to get your photos into the editing interface very quickly.

What kind of printer do I need?

We recommend a quality dye-sublimation photo printer for lab-quality results. HiTi, DNP, Sony, Kodak and Mitsubishi are among the brands that manufacturer quality event printers.

How much does it cost for everything needed to start?
